Arsenal teams up with Dirt Is Good to champion value of dirt

Arsenal Football Club has announced a new partnership with Dirt Is Good, a global movement that champions the value of dirt and encourages children to get outside and explore nature. The partnership will see Arsenal players, staff and fans come together to celebrate the importance of getting outdoors and playing in the dirt.

The Dirt Is Good movement was founded by Unilever in 2018, with the aim of inspiring children to get outside and explore nature. The campaign has since grown into a global movement, with over 1 million people joining the cause. Through its partnership with Arsenal, Dirt Is Good hopes to reach even more people and encourage them to embrace the value of dirt.

As part of the partnership, Arsenal players will be seen wearing Dirt Is Good t-shirts during training sessions and matches. The club will also be running a series of activities throughout the season that will encourage fans to get out into nature and explore their local environment. These activities will include competitions, giveaways and special events at Emirates Stadium.

The partnership is part of Arsenals commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles among its fans. The club has already launched initiatives such as Arsenal for Everyone which encourages fans from all backgrounds to come together in support of their team. This new partnership with Dirt Is Good is another step towards creating an inclusive environment for all supporters.

Commenting on the announcement, Arsenals Head of Community Relations, Mark Gonnella said: “We are delighted to be partnering with Dirt Is Good as we share their passion for encouraging children to get outdoors and explore nature. We believe that getting out into nature is an important part of leading a healthy lifestyle and we are proud to be supporting this cause through our work in the community."

Dirt Is Goods Global Movement Director, Sarah McVittie added: “We are thrilled that Arsenal Football Club have joined us in our mission to champion the value of dirt. We believe that getting out into nature is essential for childrens physical and mental wellbeing – something which is especially important during these challenging times."
